BLOOD RAGE

John Grissmer, USA, 1987, Arrow Films

“Stands out because of its performances. Louise Lasser’s harried mother is pathetically tragic. You can feel the crushing burden when it comes to her sons, and it’s great to see her become more undone as things progress. Likewise, Mark Soper’s dual role as the crazed brothers gives us two very different psychos!” -- Matt Serafini, Dread Central

BLOOD RAGE: what you get if you combine Thanksgiving, ‘70s TV star Louise Lasser (“Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman”), killer ‘80s synths and some of the most gruesome special effects in all of slasherdom, courtesy of Ed French (TERMINATOR 2).

Twins Todd and Terry seem like sweet boys -- that is, until one of them takes an axe to the face of a fellow patron at the drive-in. Todd’s blamed for the bloody crime and institutionalized, whilst Terry goes free. Ten years later, the family gathers around the table for a Thanksgiving meal, the news comes in that Todd has escaped. But has the real killer in fact been in their midst all along? One thing’s for sure, there will be blood and rage!
