THE NIGHT OF THE SCORPION

Alfonso Balcázar, Spain, 1972, First Line Films, Cult

“A stylish gaillo with plenty of gothic atmosphere.”
— Troy Howarth, SO DEADLY, SO PERVERSE

Oliver is an alcoholic with problems. Fearing that he caused the accidental of his wife, he seeks refuge in a new marriage. However, when the newlyweds move back to Oliver’s palatial estate, his family doesn’t take kindly to his new bride. And things go from bad to worse when a killer dressed in black myteriously appears. A Spanish-Italian co-production heavily influenced by Bava and Hitchcock, THE NIGHT OF THE SCORPION is an atmospheric discovery for rabid giallo-heads.
