In the twisted tradition of horror anthologies like CREEPSHOW and TALES FROM THE CRYPT, TRAPPED ASHES is helmed by Joe Dante (GREMLINS), Ken Russell (ALTERED STATES), Monte Hellman (TWO-LANE BLACKTOP), Sean Cunningham (FRIDAY THE 13TH), and John Gaeta (Visual F/X Oscar winner on THE MATRIX). Seven strangers (incl. legendary character actors John Saxon and Henry Gibson) are trapped inside an infamous Corman-style House of Horrors during a Hollywood movie studio tour, and forced to confess their most disturbing personal memories to get out alive. With marvelous visual F/X by Robert Skotak (TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, ALIENS) and a superb soundtrack is by acclaimed Japanese composer Kenji Kawai (GHOST IN THE SHELL, RINGU).
