“You don’t watch this film for the plot. You watch it for the impressive technical filmmaking and to get drawn into this well-crafted, surreal little world.” -- Annie Choi, BLEEDING SKULL!

A low-on-budget but high-on-ambition apocalyptic horror film, and the first feature written and directed by filmmaker Jay Woelfel, BEYOND DREAM’S DOOR skillfully blends elements of surrealism, mystery, and grotesque and violent horror set-pieces, resulting in a wholly singular vision. Ben hasn't been sleeping well. His dreams are filled with visions of monsters and death. Seeking out answers, Ben pursues the hidden meanings of his nightmares. As the dreams grow increasingly lifelike, Ben fears that he's losing his grip on sanity, especially as those around him start turning up dead. Previously only available as a direct-to-video casualty, BEYOND DREAM’S DOOR has been painstakingly reconstructed shot by shot from the original, unedited 16mm camera negative.
