DEATH METAL ZOMBIES

Todd Cook, USA, 1995, AGFA, Horror

“Like a 1990s mash-up of TRICK OR TREAT and SPLATTER UNIVERSITY on a budget of four cheeseburgers.” -- Joseph A. Ziemba, BLEEDING SKULL! A 1990s TRASH-HORROR ODYSSEY

DEATH METAL ZOMBIES is easily the most crowd-pleasing movie in the filmography of Todd Cook, Texas’s most prolific shot-on-video horrorhead. Metal-head Brad enters a contest and wins an album by Living Corpse, his favorite band of all time. The tape includes a special song called "Zombiefied," which turns Brad and his friends into flesh-eating zombies when they hear it. As the zombies multiply and attack, it is up to Brad's girlfriend Angel to find the tape and stop them before it's too late. Filled with gore, metal, and Doc Martens, this is a blast from start to finish.
