EVIL NIGHT

Todd Cook, USA, 1992, AGFA, Horror

“The purest expression of Todd Cook’s enthusiasm for making slasher movies with a camcorder in Missouri City, Texas.” -- Joseph A. Ziemba, BLEEDING SKULL! A 1990s TRASH-HORROR ODYSSEY

Dropping somewhere between SLAUGHTER HIGH and a teenage video collage, EVIL NIGHT is the debut film from Todd Cook, Texas’s most prolific shot-on-video horrorhead. Jimmy is the typical college student. He’s smart, he makes straight As, and he studies all the time . . . but he’s also a clown-masked killer who enacts revenge on bullies with his telekinetic powers. Feeling almost experimental at times (due to the raw look and feel), this movie is outlaw horror at its most charming, inscrutable, and bizarre.
