FROM THE OLD EARTH is a Welsh horror film with a distinctly Celtic flavor and effectively surreal scares. When William unearths an ancient stone head in his garden, his wife Jane suffers from a truly haunting nightmare and demands he get rid of it. He ultimately passes the head on to unsuspecting archaeologist Miriam, whose life and family are soon faced with the full wrath of the strange artifact. A dark and unusual story ripe for rediscovery, FROM THE OLD EARTH’s eerie atmosphere and powerfully disturbing climax will linger with you long after the lights come up.
