Perhaps the most accomplished film from Ed Wood collaborator A.C. Stephen (aka Stephen C. Apostolof), FUGITIVE GIRLS is a wild hybrid of action and sexploitation. The film co-stars Rene Bond and Tallie Cochran, and featues a singular screenplay from Wood himself (who also appears in the film). Dee is implicated in a fatal liquor store shooting committed by her boyfriend. Sent to an all-female work camp, she finds herself at the mercy of four other violent, sex-crazed prisoners who force her into their daring escape. Once on the outside, the five fugitives embark on a brutal sex-filled rampage, making their way to a mystery site rumored to have a buried suitcase full of money.
