NIGEL THE PSYCHOPATH is a shot-on-video slasher made in Vermont by kids. Real kids, who wear TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 shirts and say things like “You be illin’ when you should be chillin’!” As such, it feels like an experimental collage made by tiny extraterrestrials after destroying five packs of Pixy Stix with a Ring Pop chaser. Filled with playground gore effects (and questionable wigs), this is an infectious and unique valentine to 1980s slashers.
