RED SPELL SPELLS RED

Titus Ho, Hong Kong, 1983, Error 4444, Horror

Prepare for an hypnotic attack on the senses . . . and all forms of good taste. When a documentary film crew visits the jungles of Malaysia to investigate a witch's tomb, they discover more than they bargained for in the form of haunted trees, wild possessions, and scorpions—lots and lots of scorpions. Written by Amy Chan Suet Ming (her second and final horror movie), RED SPELL SPELLS RED is a sleazy, hallucinogenic mash-up that filters the spirits of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST and EVIL DEAD through the prism of Hong Kong horror. Previously impossible to see outside of murky bootlegs, the movie has been restored in both uncut and "animal cruelty free" versions from the original film elements.

Note: DCPs available of both uncut and "animal cruelty free" versions.
