For his supposed (and short-lived) “retirement” from feature film directing, Steven Soderbergh chose this taut, star-studded thriller from a script by his CONTAGION scribe Scott Burns. After her husband (Channing Tatum) is released from prison, Emily (Rooney Mara) begins suffering from terrifying anxiety and turns to psychiatrist Dr. Banks (Jude Law) for help. But when the doctor prescribes an experimental drug for her, the side effects have chilling, deadly and red-herring-like consequences.
