A beatnik biopic starring Thomas Jane (THE MIST), Adrien Brody (FANTASTIC MR. FOX), Claire Forlani (THE ROCK), and Keanu Reeves (THE MATRIX)? Sold! Poet Neal Cassady (Jane) is living the beatnik life during the 1940s, working at The Tire Yard and and philandering around town. However, he has visions of a happy life with kids and a white picket fence. When his girlfriend Joan (Forlani) tries to kill herself, Cassady skips town. But when Joan reappears, will he take the chance at happiness or will he turn his back on it? Based on a letter written by Cassady to author Jack Kerouac, this stylish film is about the choices people make and how they alter the course of their lives.
