When her estranged father passes, twenty-something Nyla is tasked with the thing she hates the most: cleaning up his mess. Left behind are a collection of very late VHS rentals, and with them, the burden of returning them to neighborhood shop Blaster Video. In the process, Blaster's manager discovers the fabled “Videonomicon” amongst the tapes! The two decide to watch it and unwittingly unleash its monstrous villains into reality, and they’ll have to use every ounce of cinema knowledge they have to survive the night.
