WONDER WOMEN

Robert Vincent O’Neill, USA, 1973, Vinegar Syndrome, Cult

Martial arts madness, dangerous chase scenes, insult-heavy dialogue, vague sci-fi twists, and a whole lot more nudity and violence than its misleading PG rating implies! Robert Vincent O’Neill’s WONDER WOMEN is a quintessential slice of ‘70s drive-in craziness, featuring exploitation stalwarts Sid Haig (SPIDER BABY, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS), Roberta Collins (EATEN ALIVE, CAGED HEAT) and Filipino legend Vic Diaz (RAW FORCE, THE BIG BIRD CAGE).

While traveling to Australia, American detective Mike Harber (Ross Hagen) is stranded in the Philippines and obliged to solve the mysterious disappearance of a famous Jai alai athlete. After hearing from a witness the man was kidnapped by a group of beautiful, hearse driving women -- Mike quickly finds himself a new target of the Wonder Women: martial arts assassins who work for evil genius Dr. Tsu (Nancy Kwan), who’s collecting able-bodied men for her bizarre body-part transplant experiments!
