NIGHT OF THE BLOOD BEAST

A mutant stalks the Earth when the body of a dead astronaut is used as an alien incubator in NIGHT OF THE BLOOD BEAST, produced by *the* schlockmeister Roger Corman. Very much in line with Fifties alien creature features with a particular debt to THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD and THE QUATERMASS EXPERIMENT (with a dash of “we know what’s good for Earth” from THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL), this is a taunt, entertaining programmer with some unexpectedly grisly moments like some choice head severing!
